LEXUS PAINTS AND COATINGS PVT. LTD, MOHALI was registered as Small Scale Industry on 1999. The manufacturing unit, located in the Industrial Area, is about 12 km from Punjab State Capital, Chandigarh. The unit commenced its production in the year 1999.

The Business:
In 1999 Lexus paints established its manufacturing unit at Mohali industrial area. The unit was mainly into manufacturing clear lacquer for protection of all types of plating material like bathroom fittings & spectacle frame manufacturers and pen industry.
In 2004 LPC diverted its customer base to automotive manufacturing units and targeted customer bus body builders and developed designer interior paints for bus body.
In 2006 LPC developed lead free and chrome free paints in compliance to European standards and achieved a technical tie up with Bayer material science, Germany for polyurea range of products and developed the first polyurea based clear coat to be applied with conventional system.
With technical tie up from Bayer material science, Eastman and Cytec LPC has procured a Dyno mill (new generation online pigment paste manufacturing machine

The Infrastructure:
The Infrastructure facilities have the flexibility to reorganize manufacturing operations to suit most of the changing requirements of customers. The company had installed total Specialist R & D Testing and Analysis Electronic Equipment of value approximating to Rs. 2.0 Lacs which is perhaps not a small amount for the this industry. The company has sales turnover of Rs 200 to 250 Lacs per annum & has now a target of sales worth 500 Lacs in the next financial year.
